Menu setup - Menu structure function

Description

How to use the menu structure function in Menu setup in the back office. This function is used to help arrange the master menu structure in the menu setup of the back office. For example; a menu item that was placed in the wrong category. When an item is placed in the wrong category, the options to fix this situation would be to either delete the item and recreate it, or use menu structure to move the item to the desired location.

1. In the back office select the Menu Setup module .
2. Click on Menu Structure button. On the left hand side is the master menu and on the right hand side is what will be the new structure after the changes you make. 
    
   There is an ability to move just an item or move an entire category.
3. In the case where you will want to move an from one category to another, you would simply select the item on the left hand side and drag it to the right side.
4. In order to move an entire category, as shown above, you will need to select the folder (number 1) and drag it to the desired folder on the right hand side (number 2). This will only move all the items within the category and not the folder. In the example above, all the items in Drinks was moved into the folder Admin.
5.  To move a single item, as seen above, the Dip Marinara (number 3) is moved from DipSauce to FoodMods (number 4). You must drag the item onto the folder where you would like the item to appear. In this case you wold drag the item on top of the FoodMods folder. 
6. When you transfer an item or category a confirmation, shown below, will pop up. If you want to make the change, simply click yes, it not, then click no.
