Menu Module Breakdown
The menu module can be broken down into the following tab areas:
- Menu Items: Area used to input master list of menu items
- Option Items: Area used to input master list of options to be associated with menu items
- Menu Option Links: Area used to create links between Menu Items and Options
- Menu Config: Area used to create menus windows used by staff at POS terminals for daily operations
- Price Level: Area to define price levels based on
- Menu Structure: Area used to move menu items from 1 category to another
- Exit: Click to leave the menu setup area
Before setting up the menus, the user should be familiar with the Menu Programming process.
Basic Menu Programming
Menu Programming is organized into four easy steps so that it can be done quickly and efficiently. The 4 easy steps required for menu programming include:
- Add Menu Items
Creating a master list of all Menu Items in the establishment.
- Set Up Option Items
Creating a master list of Options defined under Menu Options. Options being the modifiers, supplementary items, or add-ons that get associated with specific menu items.
- Link Menu Item Options
Linking Menu Items to Options.
- Menu Config
Designing menu sets / quick menus for use on POS Terminals.
