Suggested Image Dimensions

Recommended image sizes for optimal results:

• volanteSplash – 1024 x 768 px
• mainButton – 46 x 39 px 

Side Bar

Note that a portion of the image can be obscured by a side bar present in the UI, housing the mainButton icons and their text (i.e. User Screen, Cashier).

This side bar is not part of the image, and may obscure the right-most side of any images uploaded.  Users are advised to take this into account when setting a splash screen image.

Overwrite Main Splash Image

• To overwrite the default POS picture, add a custom picture named volanteSplash to:
  • (V6) volanteV4\chezTesoroGraphics\customFiles\customImages\pos
  • (V7) volanteHome\img\posMain
    
    or 

    volanteHome/config/customGraphics/posMain

• volanteSplash images can be either in jpg or gif formats

mainButton

mainButton images are icons present next to each POS Menu Button.  The default button icon is pictured below:

• To overwrite the default POS buttons, add a custom button picture named mainButton to the same folder as above.
• mainButton images should be in gif format.  
  • A gif file with transparency/alpha layers is ideal for backgrounds with colors.
• As a suggestion, users may copy the original Volanté images, edit them to preference, and replace the old images.
