Advanced Setup

The following setup is optional, but it may provide some benefit when using Volanté web reporting.

Use POS Terminal to Connect to Volanté Portal

As BackOffice/HeadOffice may not always be running, it would be more beneficial to connect to Volanté web portal to access a POS Terminal. The following describes how to set this up:

  • In Hardware Setup > Terminal Setup > Advanced Options, enter POSWS_REPORT in Interface Link
  • Do a data sync and restart the POS. The POS will then communicate with Volanté Portal

  • If server is alive, log onto report page – https://volantereports.com
