Overview

This page provides information on the configuration of cook times in QSR.

Cook time is used together with QSR Module.

  • Cook time will determine time delay for displaying menu items on Kitchen Video Display
  • In the case that an option is ordered with a menu item, the larger of the two cook times (option cook time and menu item cook time) will be used.
  • KDS can only be used in Line Item Station mode when using cook times
  • Line Item Station -> Display -> Display Mode must be On Total
  • Line Item Station -> Routing -> Routing Mode must be Preview or Delay


Set Cook Times for Menu Items

  • To set cook time:
Under BackOffice -> Menu Setup -> Advanced -> InterfaceLink
Enter: COOKTIME:00 where 00 is delay time in seconds
Default value for cook time is 0

Copy from Template

Copy into it's own folder in the date directory. Once doing this you will see it as an option to load under KDS builder pro
