Sometimes people change their minds - no problem! That item you just added to the transaction can easily be removed (before hitting the Total key that is), letting you continue on with your sale.

Lightning Guide: Removing a Item from a Transaction

The following guide outlines the removal of menu items during a transaction from the Cashier screen. Menu items that have been removed will not be included in the order submitted to the kitchen. This task can only be performed prior to selecting the Total button. If the Total button has been selected, you must select Void Item to void the item, then click Yes to confirm.
