How to Backup/Recover Control Point Servers (Needs Validation)

How to Backup Control point / recover a control point server.

You need to backup the following files/folders.

1. For Server Network Info
   C:\ProgramData\QSR Automations\ConnectSmart\Common\Data
   Back up the “ConnectSmartNetwork.xml”
2. For exceed/station setup (including network)
   C:\ProgramData\QSR Automations\ConnectSmart\KitchenServer
   Backup the folders called “Data” and “Templates”
3. Kitchen Builder Pro Setup (Data set includes routing and etc.)
   C:\ProgramData\QSR Automations\ConnectSmart\KitchenServer
   
   The folder called “DataSets” Should contain a folder named after the data set used by the site.
   if multiple folders exist take all of them and the on the recover you’ll have ot test eatch one until the right one is found. Once that is done, remove the unneeded dataset and make a new back up (remove means back the up some where else not delete in case you make a mistake)

Recovery

To recover you need to reinstall the same version as before and put the files above back in their respective directories.
